It's been a little over two years since I started this blog -- after we purchased Dr. H's wonderful home. I looked around and found very little about our neighborhood, Eichler Homes in Sacramento, or about mid-century modern architecture in our region. In my attempt to fill this void by researching our recent past, I've learned many interesting and exciting things.
If anyone out there has additional information that they'd like me to share here about the neighborhood or other goodies of note, drop me a line at the email address noted in the upper left hand corner.
Cheers!

Wow! Looks like a great article. Congratulations on the extra coverage.
What a wonderful job you have done highlighting Sacramento modern heritage!
Thanks M & A!
How exciting! You have done so much work lately--I'm glad some praise is coming your way.
Thanks so much S!
Such a warm, complimentary article about your neighborhood. I'm glad they finally got around to mentioning you! Hope this brings more readers to your blog and more awareness to those Eichler owners who remodel in insensitive ways.
Thanks Tikimama! I think our work on the Sacramento Mid-Century Home Tour really galvanized the already-present interest in MCM here in town. It's nice to see more people appreciating the style.
Nice coverage. A beautiful place to live.

I am tastefully tikifying the MCM house & bungalow I bought in the Arcadia Gardens neighborhood. I bought this home built in '59 from the estate of the original owner in May.
Congratulations, Rugby Matt!
