Another awesome So. Land Park Hills Eichler for Sale!

Fresh on the market with an Open House from 1 - 4pm Sunday, June 6, 2010 (MLS#10044638)! A four bedroom, two bath Jones & Emmons Eichler Home built in 1955 on South Land Park Drive.

This is the home from the family that had the wonderful original materials from their first Eichler Home in Sacramento, including the fantastic brochure I featured in my last post.

"This classic design features floor to ceiling windows, soaring open beam ceilings, block fireplace, mahogany walls & so much more; all untouched by the long term owners. You will be amazed by the spacious & tranquil park-like rear yard which overlooks a scenic nature area."

Occasionally I find out about Mid-Century modern homes in the Sacramento region that are either for rent or for sale. I am not an agent nor am I affiliated with one (though I sometimes hang out with the cool ones!) I am passing this information along as a public service to those who are interested and love MCM design and architecture as much as I do.

We're hoping through education and routing people to the right resources that they'll make good remodeling and renovation decisions as well :)

What a beautiful original Eichler, Gretchen. Hope the folks that just bought it will keep its original and intact beauty. Lucky buyers!

Thanks Miguel! That's our rallying point -- to have people appreciate and realize what they have. We hope through education and providing service/material resources that people will be inspired to thoughtfully restore their homes and buildings.

Not sure what I was doing in June 2010, but I obviously wasn't paying attention :-) Better late than never!

This is just lovely.
